Hello! ✨ I'm Pia Långbacka — a modern age medium and tarot reader based in Helsinki.
I see tarot as a great tool for self-reflection, offering new perspectives on the things you're pondering deep within your mind. The imagery and symbols in the tarot speak to our subconscious. You can ask tarot about many different things — and insights may come even after the reading. Never underestimate your own intuitive abilities!
I first encountered tarot in 1998 when I lived in Virginia for a year. That's when I bought my first deck, the Rider-Waite Universal, and every week I did the Celtic Cross spread for myself. This was how I calmly got to know and study tarot. After returning to Finland, I took courses including those by Anja Toivanen, where we delved into the Crowley deck. I still use that deck with my clients today.
In a short reading, we'll explore what the tarot wants to tell you at this moment. The 30-minute reading includes the classic Celtic Cross spread. I also offer a more extensive 35-card comprehensive reading, which takes about an hour. You can come with a friend as well, and we'll have plenty of time to explore the magic of the tarot for each of you.
There are many tarot decks available now, and everyone can find their own by trying them out. For beginners, I recommend the classic Rider-Waite deck, which is also available for purchase at HuuHaa. On Instagram, I follow tarot pages like @neshla111, @tarotpuoti, and @spellbounsky.

I am a Finnish–Dominican tarot reader, seer, and bruja (pronounced 'bruha', meaning witch). Tarot is a magical tool for me – it brings new perspectives, strengthens your connection to your own path, and provides answers in situations where clarity is needed.
I bought my first tarot deck in 2019 in London. It was a classic Rider–Waite–Smith deck, which immediately drew me in. Since then, I have studied and worked with tarot cards, learning their meanings and diving deep into their symbolism. This decision led me to the path I continue to follow today. When I sit down with the cards, I attune to the client's energy. Tarot reading is a unique moment for me, where the energies of the client, myself, and my spirit team meet and merge.
My core values are joy, bringing calm energy, and creating safer spaces in spiritual circles. I also hold close to my heart connecting with other BIPOC witches. When I moved to Finland and began walking my spiritual path, I noticed that such spaces were scarce. This guided me onto my own path: I want to create spaces where BIPOC witches can feel seen, heard, and acknowledged.
